“I am a woman in recovery from Alcohol Use Disorder since December 24, 2019. My sobriety has changed every aspect of my life, and my passion is to share my joy and the hope that comes along with recovery with anyone who is seeking it!
I am a Certified Peer Recovery Coach (CPRC) through CCAR and MDHHS, as well as a Certified Peer Recovery Mentor (CPRM) through MCBAP. I have been working in the Recovery Field since the end of 2020, starting in women’s residential treatment as a Behavioral Health Technician and then becoming a Case Manager in 2022. I began my career as a Certified Peer Recovery Coach/Program Coordinator with Community Recovery Alliance on May 1, 2023 where I provide one on one coaching, daily (12pm) multiple pathway recovery meetings, sober events, and community outreach.
My husband, Christian, and I have been together for 10 years and we live in Petoskey with our four children (Ezekiel, Hezekiah, Juliet, and Nora) and six cats (Kiedis, Barley, Puck-Puck, Maggie, Duncan, and Minnie Pacqui-Meow). We began our recovery journey together in 2019 and are stronger than ever today thanks to the beauty of recovery! The life that my recovery has allowed me to live amazes me every day and through all of life’s trials and challenges, I am thankful for each day that I am alive. “
