Position Overview
The Recovery Center Facilitator provides day-to-day support at the Community Recovery Center. This role ensures the Center is a safe, welcoming, and supportive space for all recoverees, visitors, and community members. Duties include greeting visitors, maintaining a clean and stocked environment, assisting with basic resource navigation, facilitating mutual support group meetings, and providing support during special events.
This is not a coaching position — the Recovery Center Facilitator does not provide one-on-one recovery coaching services.
This position is funded by a grant from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS). As part of the grant requirements, applicants must have their own lived experience with substance use disorder.

FAQs
The hours for this role will range between 20-25hrs a week. This includes working at least one evening a week (Tuesdays), two mid day shifts, and potentially one weekend day a month.
We do not allow staff to transport clients.

This is an in office position, at the CRA Community Center and Offices. (322 Bay St, Unit 3, Petoskey Mi 49770).
There is no option for remote work at this time.
We will discuss this with you during the interview processes, but we do perform background checks. The results are not an immediate disqualification. It’s lived experience and the results will be discussed with candidates.
